Featuring “Tortona Rocks – Design to Change Everything” and a focus on balancing heritage with innovation.
Tortona Rocks returns for its 11th edition with Design to Change Everything, a programme that positions design as a continuous, adaptive force in a moment of global uncertainty.
Taking place from 20–26 April, the platform once again transforms Milan’s Tortona district into a meeting point for international voices, bringing together a wide spectrum of practices, perspectives and cultures. Here, design is framed not as a finished outcome, but as an evolving process–one that responds to shifting social, economic and environmental conditions.
Across installations and exhibitions, the emphasis moves beyond objects to encompass systems, research and new modes of production. Design emerges as both a tool and a language: a way of thinking through complexity, and of proposing alternative futures.
In this context, Tortona Rocks reinforces its role as a cultural catalyst–foregrounding design’s capacity to question, connect and ultimately reshape the world around us.
