Oslo Made in Heaven

A Beirut favourite expands its footprint in Milan

In the late 1990s, their mother Nayla opened an adventurous ice cream shop in Beirut. Having inherited her passion for dessert, equally entrepreneurial sisters Yasmine and Julie Audi unveiled a Milanese outpost of Oslo Made in Heaven in 2024. At this compact confectionery, slices of soft-as-a-cloud angel cake and sundaes crowned with toasted vanilla meringue are served in an aptly ethereal space. A curtain handcrafted in Lebanon, a sleek built-in bench and swathes of cream and gold tiles blend right in with the pink-tinted rose loukoumi, candied orange peel bows and strawberry coulis garnishes for a dreamy effect.
