Gloria Osteria

Gloria lends a sense of theatre to the local dining scene

Italy has always been muse to Big Mamma Group’s restaurants in France, Monaco, Belgium, Spain, Germany and England, but the bi-level Gloria Osteria in Brera marks the French brand’s first sumptuous foray into the country. Imagined as a floral-bedecked retro villa, it marries a striking striped gold and white marble floor with flashy textiles, sculptural seating and artist Jacopo Foggini’s dramatic chandeliers. It’s a glamorous, colourful setting for tucking into plump scarpinocc pasta stuffed with mushroom and potato, slabs of gleaming Beef Wellington, and fluffy slices of gently caramelised “tarte citron XXL.”
