Casa Museo Boschi Di Stefano presents a centenary exhibition dedicated to Carlo Zauli, tracing the Italian artist’s practice across sculpture, ceramics and design. Curated by Gaspare Luigi Marcone in collaboration with the Museo Carlo Zauli in Faenza, the show foregrounds Zauli’s dialogue with Milan’s artistic milieu, mapping the key phases of his formal and material evolution.
Staged within the museum’s Ceramic School spaces, the exhibition adopts an intimate, workshop-like setting–one that reflects the tactile nature of Zauli’s work while drawing connections between tradition and experimentation. Here, the legacy of Faenza’s ceramic heritage is placed in conversation with a more contemporary, exploratory approach to making.
Rather than a retrospective in the conventional sense, the exhibition reads as a focused study of process and exchange–highlighting the intersections between place, material and artistic development.
