Noël & Marquet, Belgian manufacturer of such decorative solutions as cornices, chair rails, 3D wall panels and skirtings and profiles for indirect lighting, called upon Milan design practice studioutte to bring Galerie Rouge to life for Fuorisalone. Under studioutte’s creative direction, the conceptual installation illuminates bold directions in wall décor. Imagined as a jewel box, it merges light, colour and sound in an enveloping monochromatic and symmetric space. Here, wall panels line the burgundy-hued room and mouldings resemble sculptures.
