Como-based design studio Draga & Aurel are bringing the rooms of an eclectic apartment to life for this year’s edition, which sees the duo fusing art and design. Expressed through a vibrant mix of colour, contrasting shapes and rich material palette, the design pair will also be showing their new collection, entitled Transparency Matters, which features dizzying contours and interconnecting shapes.

A selection of iconic furnishings – think the original Gae Aulenti armchair and the playful Locus Solus chair, reinterpreted with hand-painted fabrics by Livio De Simone, complete the bold interiors. Meanwhile, Giuliano Andrea dell’Uva envisioned a gallery inside the apartment, designed to house a selection of paintings by Aurel K. Basedow. Powerful, energetic, and textured, Aurel’s artworks feature layered materials like photographs, paint, and resin to create bespoke and striking pieces.
