Sofa Talk with PJ Natuzzi, Simone Bonanni e Andrea Steidl

Celebrate 65 years with us and discover new Circle of Harmony's creative collaborations.

Natuzzi’s 65th anniversary has been an exciting new opportunity for Circle of Harmony to collaborate with several leading profiles in the world of design. Two of these are surely Simone Bonanni and Andrea Steidl, whose new sofas  Momento and Mirai, look back to our history with pride but do not neglet to honor a fascinating and innovative future.

Momento has been designed and created as a modern and creative puzzle. Its layered composition is reminiscent of the dry stone walls typical of the Apulian countryside, which in an alchemy of balance and technical wisdom, do not need binders or mortars to stay together. The design idea links forms to sensations, tracing the softness of surfaces and the roundness of lines to convey an aesthetic of relaxation and visual comfort that engages the eye even before discovering its ergonomic characteristics.

Mirai by Andrea Steidl takes inspiration from the 13th-century Frederician architecture of Puglia. Like the great Frederician castles, Mirai is characterized by a structure with a strong yet light personality, displaying a rigorous architectural lines with a soft soul.

The common thread in both sofas is the forward-looking leanings of innovative design projects that pay homage to ideas of beauty and creativity that break the mold.

” In my work with Natuzzi, there is an eye on contemporaneity that I cherish because it is one of the ways in which I can design objects that are relevant today. “

—  Simone Bonanni

” Natuzzi is going through a period of great evolution, it wants to include within its heritage, elements that drive it into the future. “

—  Andrea Steidl
