This April, the delicately laid-back Korean bistro Li-Sei celebrates its 4th anniversary. Opened by husband and wife Okhee and Kihyuk, it serves traditional recipes crafted by mothers of Zainichi Koreans (ethnic Koreans living in Japan) such as the carefully seasoned Bibimbap and Korean fried chicken, all made with local Italian ingredients. Located in Navigli, an area Okhee loves for its artistic community, the friendly establishment is peppered with ceramics, antiques, Korean paper, photographs and pojagi (traditional Korean wrapping cloths).
